4. SIGNING THE LEASE

Upon reaching an agreement with the owner, you’ll be required to read the draft of the lease agreement. The lease agreement will be in Japanese and signed under Japanese law. An English translation of the lease will be provided whenever possible. A detailed expense statement will also be sent to you. We’ll provide you with a list of necessary documents to submit when sign- ing the lease agreement. After the lease agreement has been signed you’ll proceed to make the necessary payments and apply for home insurance.
